The first print  was already done couple weeks ago

back to the film

Even though, digital photography is replacing analogue procedures. I don’t think a digital can produce such a vivid colors … these photos were taken by Kodak color slide E100vs film with Nikon FM and 50mm f1.8 lens. (No photoshop was achieved)

Leica M6

I’m on the verge of buying the Leica M6. Finally my Leica dream come true :)

dilema

I am baffled with my camera again … well being sick again with different routes and options … which setup would help me capture the most moments on my Europe trip … is my current setup too big and heavy to do the job? should I sell it and go back to the basics… ahh… all these problems would be solved by M9 … you bastard

Aglio Et Olio Pasta

… just had this for dinner. Easy and simple tasty pasta in 15 min !

  • Kosher salt, to taste, plus 1 teaspoon
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Pinch red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/2 lemon, zested, optional
  • Freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, optional

Bring a large pot of cold water to a boil over high heat, then salt it generously. Add the pasta and cook, stirring occasionally until al dente, tender but not mushy, about 8 minutes.

While the pasta cooks, combine the garlic, olive oil, the 1 teaspoon salt, and red pepper flakes in a large skillet and warm over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the garlic softens and turns golden, about 8 minutes.

Drain the pasta in a colander set in the sink, reserving about a 1/4 cup of the cooking water. Add the pasta and the reserved water to the garlic mixture. Mix well. Add the parsley and lemon zest (if using). Adjust seasoning, to taste. Transfer to a large serving bowl or divide amongst 4 to 6 dishes. Serve topped with grated cheese, if desired.

Filson briefcase

Finally got my Filson briefcase. My first impression – this thing will last forever !

It can fit up to 17 inch laptop in the center pocket and 15 on the side. I was able to fit my 15 inch laptop and Canon 5D mounted on 24-70mm lens with no problem.

Might As Well Have the BEST !

Hike

Sunday Morning + Hiking + Camera + Music = Priceless

music

“Music can lift us out of depression or move us to tears – it is a remedy, a tonic, orange juice for the ear. But for many of my neurological patients, music is even more- it can provide access, even when no medication can, to movement, to speech, to life. For them, music is not a luxury, but a necessity. ” Oliver Saks – neurologists.

… This is very true, I personally can see it from few of my own patients. Music is more than just beats and lyrics. It is way of life…
